Who we are

Worship. Community. Service. Hospitality.

Saints Peter and Paul Episcopal Church / San Pedro y San Pablo is located on Portland’s East Side, and a church home for people looking for a place to worship (on-line or in small gatherings), a community of people who care about you, and opportunities to serve the wider community. We are one community with two languages and cultures. We are always exploring how best to pray, serve, and grow together. We hope you’ll join us.

Our worship is Catholic in “feel” and faith; this means that we pray with our bodies and all our senses, and we proclaim Scripture with joy and hope. Most Sundays we offer two masses, one in English and one in Spanish. On the first Sunday of each month and on major feasts we worship together  in English and Spanish.

Our way of life is reflected in hospitality and service to our community. We offer welcome and support to one another as we seek and serve the God who became flesh for us. We believe that God continues to reveal God’s own self in our midst and in the faces of the stranger and of those in need.

Our welcome is unconditional.

As a “Believe Out Loud” congregation, we welcome and affirm persons of all sexual orientations and identities.
